Unity In Color is an artistic humanitarian photography series. San Francisco has joined other cities around the world to support this project which stands for the ideals in which the Million Woman March represented. The idea is to produce a very strong image visually that shows our solidarity in this time. This is about celebrating women and standing together publicly.
Our first ever Sol Sisters Retreat, hosted at Maker's Loft in Oakland, was exactly what we ALL needed to help give us the motivation and inspirations to kick 2017 off to a powerful start.
Sol Sisters and Brothers joined the estimated 50,000 people who flooded San Francisco's Market Street for the Women's March. Here are photos from our experience.
Our Founder and CEO Christine Coleman was nominated and selected to attend the first ever United State of Women Summit, a conference convened by the White House.
Sol Sisters visited Sacramento, CA to support WEAVE, Inc's Walk A Mile In Her Shoes, the international men's march to stop rape, sexual assault & gender violence. This event happens all over the world throughout the year with thousands in attendance to support this fight.
These men put on their best heels and walked the streets of our State's Capitol City!
Our first annual Solday Brunch Fundraiser was hosted in San Francisco's new entertainment venue, Piano Fight. Brunch tickets included a 3 course brunch meal, with live entertainment, raffle prizes and afterparty! We raised over $3K - not bad for our first one!
